Jackie and Ryan’s wedding day began with a relaxed and intimate gathering of all the bridesmaids in Jackie’s childhood home. Love this sweet spontaneous moment between Jackie and one of her flower girls.
Time to get ready, but first a fun group shot with all of Jackie’s bridesmaids (and her sweet pup who snuck in to join the fun).
Jackie’s stunning shoes gave her bridal look a fabulous pop of color!
Always love the final adjustments as the bride gets ready to walk down the aisle!
Ryan makes his final preparations at Westchester Country Club. His excitement shows on his face!
For clients who are interested, I have started to offer a drone photography option. It’s such a neat perspective to have for specific aspects of the wedding day. What a spectacular view of the lovely Resurrection Church in Rye, as captured by the drone photographer on my team.
That awesome moment after the vows and walking for the first time as husband and wife. This photograph was captured from the balcony by my fabulous assistant Yasmeena. Multiple points of view on the wedding day are critical to fully capturing all of the action.
I always love getting a few minutes with just the bride and groom! Resurrection Church has that great stone texture in the background.
Love the joy on Jackie’s face as they depart the ceremony. And you get a peek at those gorgeous pink wedding shoes too!
We were hoping to maybe just get one or two photos outside as the clouds were looking ominous all morning and afternoon. Well, “let’s try just one more before it rains,” miraculously ended up being able to photograph each and every one of the formals outdoors with the spectacular fall colors in the trees as the ideal backdrop.
That’s an awesome looking bridal party! The colors in the bouquets and the colors in the maple tree behind them were a PERFECT match. Fabulous foresight by florist Blooming Buds.
A favorite of the day – such a fun and genuinely happy moment. Totally worth embarrassing myself by belting out “Let It Go!” with the flower girls to get a fun and relaxed moment on film. I love photographing kids at weddings, and my “mom skills” are always an asset here.
Westchester Country Club is simply a spectacular reception location – grand and filled with ornate details. When asked my favorite venues to photograph weddings in Westchester, this is always at the top of the list.
Jackie and Ryan rocked their entrance and their first dance. NYC Swing kept up this energy level all night long. The Bruce Springsteen fans in the crowd were treated to numerous amazing covers of songs by the E Street Band.
The toasts were full of smiles! Ryan’s best man and Jackie’s maids of honor had the whole room laughing and crying the whole time.
I would say Jackie was having a great time, wouldn’t you agree? I adore this photo of both of them fully enjoying their wedding reception. What a wonderful and memorable wedding day they had! Congratulations!
