The “B” Family

A few weeks ago, I met up with this fun and energetic young family for a photo shoot. I had a great time meeting Giorgio (who is the same age as my son Jake and likes a lot of the same things), and sweet little Catherine, who is a year old.

The “B” family recently moved into a beautiful older home in Westchester, and the home and the property were such a beautiful place to photograph. I love nothing more than a yard filled with mature trees, and a home filled with beautiful woodwork and huge windows to let in the mid-afternoon sunlight.

Here are a few of my favorites from our session:

There is something about this photograph that I love! While it is not your typical everyone-sit-down-and-smile-at-the-camera photograph, I feel like it truly captures the life of this family. Everyone is busy running around, having fun, exploring, and seeing what’s going on around them.
