I photographed an event a few weeks back for a charity organization benefiting local schools. The 1960’s-themed event was held at the scenic Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club. The event design was carried out by the talented Dee S. van Eyck of Summit Design Associates and was totally funky and groovy throughout.
The shag-a-delic details were everywhere!
They even arranged to have a VW Beetle decorated with the theme of the event
Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club always does a great job with the catering.
My favorite image of the night… (And yes, I heard the people waiting at the bar wonder aloud what in the world I was taking a picture of – I was working my mojo baby, yeah!)
The silent auction before dinner had tons of great items available, donated by some of the best area shops, restaurants, and business owners.
The live auction was a success as well.
This was my first large non-wedding event, but I am looking forward to more events like this, including Sweet Sixteen Parties and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. Have an event you would like me to photograph? Call the studio at 914-262-2893 now to reserve your date!
Very cool as always!
And mmmmm…those drinks look deelish right about now.
Even numbers.
I LOVE all of these, Kelly, but numbers 2, 4, and 6 almost make me want to CRY they are so phenomenal!!
(Got the disk today. Thanks!! Your pearly polkadot cards are supercute.)
