This beautiful multicultural wedding, which integrated the bride’s Jewish traditions as well as the groom’s middle Eastern customs, was held at a private residence in Connecticut.
The two-day event, with its color scheme of rich deep red and gold, began with coverage of the bride’s henna ceremony and bridal shower. She and her bridesmaids and female guests wrapped themselves in beautiful colorful saris and enjoyed a lovely brunch at Dolce Norwalk.

Later that evening, I met up with the bride and groom again for their rehearsal dinner at Elm Restaurant in New Canaan, Connecticut. It was wonderful to hear the toasts of their friends and family and learn a little more about how they had met and their paths in life.

Next was the big day!
All three events were planned by the lovely and talented Barette Widell of Widell Weddings/Widell Designs. The elegant florals, lavish decor and lighting were put together by the team at Katikul Designs. Their band, Soul Solution, kept the crowd on their feet all night long. Kosher Catering was provided by Abel Caterers, and Indian Catering was by Coromandel.
