Christine and Michael had a beautiful wedding ceremony at a private home in Riverdale, followed by a delightful reception at the Westchester Renaissance Hotel<\/a> in West Harrison. You might remember this fantastic couple from their engagement session<\/a>, also in Riverdale.<\/p>\n

Christine was calm, cool and collected as she and her bridesmaids prepared for the wedding.<\/p>\n

This bouquet of roses is so beautiful, I love this shade of champagne pink.<\/p>\n

The girls gathered for a quick moment of prayer before the ceremony. It was a moving and beautiful moment I was so honored to be able to witness.<\/p>\n

The ceremony took place in a tent on the grounds of the private residence. My awesome second shooter, Sherri Jackson<\/a> is responsible for these next three lovely images:<\/p>\n

The weather was so perfect and beautiful for a late-summer outdoor wedding.<\/p>\n

Next, we headed down to the Hudson River to get a few portraits with the water and the skyline as a backdrop. The whole experience was also captured on video by the lovely and brilliant Jen Cassaro from Masterpiece Video<\/a>. Lulu Cake Boutique<\/a> in Scarsdale made both the wedding cake and the groom’s cake. Lulu’s cakes are as delicious as they are gorgeous! Michael’s cake was a surprise from Christine, in honor of his 20 years of service with the NYPD.<\/p>\n

The Westchester Renaissance Hotel<\/a> has a beautiful ballroom that can accommodate large wedding receptions. <\/p>\n

First dance as husband and wife<\/p>\n

I was so excited when Christine told me they would be having the Pipes and Drums<\/a> of the Emerald Society playing at their wedding. It is an amazing, moving, patriotic experience that must be seen and heard<\/a> in person to be fully appreciated. Christine and Michael both kicked up their heels to the lively music.<\/p>\n

Christine danced with her dad and Michael danced with his mom as a slideshow of the bride and groom as children played on two screens.<\/p>\n

Christine and Michael had a vase filled with corks from the bottles of wine they celebrated with during their engagement. I grabbed three of the corks to get this fun shot of their wedding rings.<\/p>\n
